A Safety Circle experts have worked with over 100 high-rise buildings to produce BICs/BIFs.

 

The purpose of these BICs/BIFs is to provide emergency response teams quick access to critical information about the building’s systems during an emergency.

 

The National Fire Code mandates that all high-rise buildings nationally create and make available diagrams of the building emergency systems in the form of Building Information Cards.  Similar to BIC’s requirements, the City of Los Angeles Fire Code mandates that all high-rise buildings in the City of Los Angeles create and make available diagrams of their emergency systems in the form of Building Inventory Forms. These diagrams are required in all high-rise buildings nationally.
